As reported by Fox in Dallas/Ft. Worth:
“The son of a former elderly resident of a Long Island nursing home has sued the center after his mother was subjected to a striptease.
The 85-year-old resident is seen in a photo slipping a dollar bill into the underwear of a man as he hovers over her.
The incident occurred at the East Neck Nursing Center in West Babylon, according to the NY Post.
When the resident’s family questioned the strip show, there outrage was ignored, according to the lawsuit. The son says he confronted a nurse who had the picture of his mom and the stripper but she snatched it away.
The money the nursing home resident is seen holding in the photo was supposed to be under lock and key in a commissary account, according to the paper.
The suit claims the “vile” incident was done for the “perverse pleasure and enjoyment” of the staff.
An attorney representing the nursing home says the performance was requested and approved by a committee of residents.”
